What is the challenge?

The Crazy Love Challenge is a spiritual growth challenge for the church to grow in 5 areas:

  • Crazy Devotion - Develop the spiritual disciplines of fasting, prayer and Bible study.
  • Crazy Community - Join a LIFEgroup and experience life-changing relationships.
  • Crazy Servanthood - Serve in a C3 ministry & community service project.
  • Crazy Mission - Share your testimony & invite someone to C3.
  • Crazy Generosity - Tithe 10% and give to Crazy Love Offering.

What is the financial goal?

Our financial goal this year for the Crazy Love Challenge is $150,000.  Here is how it breaks down.

  • Go Global with the Gospel - $30,000 - This will enable us to make a larger impact in our nation and world through the planting of churches with the ARC, oversea's mission trips, church building in the Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as fund our evangelism efforts here in Central Wisconsin.
  • Help Those Who are Hurting - $20,000 - We hope to make more of a difference in the lives of orphans in India and the poor in Marshfield and around the world.  $10,000 would be used in this area to fund our annual FESTIVAL OF HOPE toy giveaway and outreach.  We would also like to sent $10,000 to an orphanage in India to support the children there for an entire year.
  • Invest in the Next Generation - $30,000 - We believe that we have an responsibility to help the next generation fulfill everything God wants for them to do.  The finances here will go to help provide a Christ-centered environment for children to learn how much they are loved by God.  It also provides continued resources for the spiritual development of children ages infant to young adult.  Some of the ways include funding mission trips, conferences, and ministry curriculum.
  • Increase Ministry Effectiveness - $70,000 - This specific component will be used to help correct building and grounds issues, provide necessary resources and staffing to facilitate church growth, help us free up financial resources for ministry by reducing our debt load as a church, and increase the spiritual development of the congregation by bringing in great guest speakers through the course of the year.

  3. Participate in the 5 Crazy Love Offerings
    • November 13, 2011 - Goal $30,000
    • February 26, 2012 - Goal $30,000
    • April 29, 2012 - Goal $30,000
    • June 24, 2012 - Goal $30,000
    • September 30, 2012 - Goal $30,000
  4. Make a monthly Crazy Love commitment.
    • Fill out a monthly commitment card and return to the church office.
